Michigan Open Carry works with Kent County Gun Board to better gun rights in MI

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Michigan Open Carry is pleased to announce our recent involvement with the Kent County Gun Board in clarifying the public understanding of their CPL Policy.

Kent County's Website had stated a CPL Class Certificate is only valid for one year after the class was taken.  Michigan Open Carry, Inc. worked successfully with Kent County to get this misunderstanding clarified.

The leadership of Michigan Open Carry, Inc. would like to thank the Kent County Gun Board for their expedient attention to this matter.  In this, the Kent County Gun Board has shown themselves to be a shining example of local government following Michigan's Preemption Law.  As of the writing of this release, the offending policy has been removed.
