Join Us in the Fight for Your Gun Rights

Financial support is crucial to any organization, especially ones dedicated to supporting and expanding gun rights such as Michigan Open Carry.  It takes money to get our message out as well as to fight and win in the courts.  Our opposition knows this all too well, and even though they are heavily funded by other sympathetic leftist organizations and billionaires such as George Soros and Michael Bloomberg, they still need more, which is why they have begun micro-funding campaigns.

Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America (MDA) has teamed up with the progressive iKeedo to turn NRA tweets into cash for their gun-control efforts.  “Every time the NRA tweets, people donate to Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America—essentially taking the gun lobby propaganda and turning it into resources for gun violence prevention,” says Shannon Watts.

iKeedo calls their efforts a “game changer” and a “disruptive” new way to engage with issues that matter.  As of this writing, MDA has raised a whopping $927 through iKeedo.  Another one of iKeedo’s campaigns has raised a mere $671 from MoveOn.org’s claimed 8 million members.  Game changer indeed.

This is one of the many reasons I am proud to belong to and support Michigan Open Carry.  Our members are passionate, vocal, active, and generous.  Michigan Open Carry is making a positive contribution to gun rights in Michigan in the legislature, the courts, and in the court of public opinion.  If you aren’t a member, please consider joining MOC.  If you are a member, please consider also contributing to our legal fund to help us fight for your rights in the courts.  Michigan Open Carry accepts both one time and recurring donations.
